What data is processed
This is an informational website. It has no contact forms, restricted areas or registration, and it does not ask visitors to enter any personal data.

As with any website, the systems that deliver it automatically record certain technical data inherent in the use of internet protocols: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, and type of browser and operating system. This data is used solely to operate the website and to protect it against misuse and cyber attacks; it is not used to identify or profile visitors.
Data provided voluntarily. Anyone who telephones or writes to the contact details shown on this website is contacting the healthcare facilities where Prof. Trabalzini practises. Those facilities process the data as independent controllers, in accordance with their own privacy notices.
Purpose and legal basis
Browsing data is processed to ensure that the website functions correctly and securely, on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting provider
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes browsing data as a data processor. Cloudflare participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; any transfer of data to the United States takes place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision and of standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Browsing data is kept only for as long as is strictly necessary for the security purposes described above and is then deleted, unless it is required by the authorities to investigate computer crime.
Cookies
This website does not set profiling or analytics cookies and does not use third-party tracking tools. Fonts are served directly from the website, without connections to external services. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is displayed.

Some pages link to external websites, such as PubMed or the websites of hospitals. This notice does not apply to those websites, which have their own privacy policies.
